Hello, my name is&nbsp;Nicolle Rockstroh I am very thankful to have inherited my last name. I like it because it’s very close to the word rockstar. It’s German and the fact that I have a very German last name that matches my very German face is only a sweet little ironic treat served on top of me being born and raised in Guatemala. A very non-German-like country.&nbsp; I got to grow up not that far away from beaches, jungles, volcanoes, and Mayan pyramids. I was surrounded by a very rich culture, biodiverse ecosystems, fantastic food, the best coffee in the entire planet and a lot of color.&nbsp; And all of that (to me) is why I go full color on my illustrations, get often inspired by plants or animals, preach caffeine as a way of living and sometimes tell myself that I could, if I wanted to, be a rockstar. They partner with small, family-owned farms, building close relationships with growers and supporting fair trade practices that empower communities and protect the environment. Each harvest reflects the rhythm of the land and the seasons, making every batch unique. For this project, Syra invited me to create a series of illustrations to be used across their digital and print materials. Rather than creating a generic set of food icons, we set out to celebrate the richness of global food traditions. From everyday meals to culturally specific dishes, each illustration was chosen to honor the diversity of food cultures around the world.The final deck became more than just a visual asset—it was a tool for Studio Magic Hour to communicate their values. This project was for The CPO, a publication aimed at product managers. The article “How To Build A Cross-Functional Product Team” explored cross-functional collaboration—what it is, how it works, and why it’s essential to implement. My challenge was to transform a complex, process-driven topic into something visual and story-driven. More people than ever were seeking time in nature, and once restrictions were lifted, the reserves experienced their highest number of visitors in years. Twelve “rules” were transformed into illustrations and published as individual posters. The client requested a style that was simple but not childish, as the campaign was mainly aimed at adults. small restaurant and bar in the heart of Barcelona, specialising in burgers and cocktails. The owners wanted a visual identity that reflected not only their passion and care for food, but also the atmosphere that comes with sharing a meal or a drink with a friend at Orac. The result is an unconventional logo that captures variety, movement, and fun. Because the report was rich with data and analysis, the design challenge was to make the content clear, engaging, and easy to navigate.To balance the analytical tone with visual storytelling, I designed a series of isometric illustrations that brought key insights to life—turning complex data points into visuals that felt tangible and memorable.The animations, created by Daniel Florencio, brought these illustrations to life—adding motion and depth that made the insights even more dynamic and accessible.
