A bit about myself.
Hello, my name is Nicolle Rockstroh
I am very thankful to have inherited my last name. I like it because it’s very close to the word rockstar. It’s German and the fact that I have a very German last name that matches my very German face is only a sweet little ironic treat served on top of me being born and raised in Guatemala. A very non-German-like country.
I got to grow up not that far away from beaches, jungles, volcanoes, and Mayan pyramids. I was surrounded by a very rich culture, biodiverse ecosystems, fantastic food, the best coffee in the entire planet and a lot of color.
And all of that (to me) is why I go full color on my illustrations, get often inspired by plants or animals, preach caffeine as a way of living and sometimes tell myself that I could, if I wanted to, be a rockstar.
