The Phygital Revolution

As part of my work with Black & White Zebra, I create custom visual assets and illustrations that bring their editorial articles to life. In this assignment, I developed a series of editorial illustrations to accompany the article “The Phygital Revolution: How to Transcend the Physical/Digital Divide.” The piece explores how brands are fusing real-world environments with digital experiences

My goal was to visually translate this concept by combining futuristic digital elements with subtle references to tangible environments.

I incorporated gradients, tactile textures, and subtle light transitions to evoke a digital atmosphere, while preserving a sense of depth and physicality to reflect the real world. During the process, I remained consistent with the brand’s visual language, thoughtfully tailoring the color palette, layout, and overall style to align with the publication.

The resulting illustrations support the story by highlighting the integration of technological innovation and human experience, visually reinforcing the article’s message in a cohesive and modern way.
